A webinar on the topic “Cyber security – the need of the hour” was organized by the Department of Computer science, Michael Job College of arts and science. Mr Vibin Chandar, Asst Prof, Department of Computer Science, Sri Ramakrishna College, Coimbatore, emphasized on cyber security and the threats that it poses, when breached. Different aspects of cyber-attack such as phishing, spam calls, cashback emails, skimmer frauds etc were explained. The queries session had an overwhelming response from the participants. They posed questions from different aspects of the speaker’s discussion.
