To commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Youth Awakening Day was celebrated on 15th October 2020.
The programme started with invoking God’s blessing through a prayer song led by the students. The Principal, staff, and students payed tribute to the star of youth, Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam by lighting the candles. Students from various departments talked and shared how they got inspired by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. They recited poems, essays in English as well as Tamil. The Principal highlighted the vision and thoughts of Kalam to the youth of the country. Social distancing as well all other safety precautions for COVID – 19 were undertaken during the event.
