MJC – College of Arts & Science for Women – Faculty Development Program on “Creative Ways of Engaging Higher Education Students through Online Teaching”

Michael Job College of Arts and Science for Women organized a One Day Faculty Development Program on Creative Ways of Engaging Higher Education Students through Online Teaching” through Google Meet on 20th August 2020, 5:00PM to 6:00PM.

Dr. S.Naganandhini, Assistant Professor & HoD, Department of Management, Nehru Institute of Technology delivered a workshop to the faculty about creative ways of engaging the higher education students through online teaching. She presented her slides using innovative techniques. It highlighted the techniques used to create interactive learning through digital platforms.

The session was participated by more than 150 enthusiastic faculty from MJC CAS and from various other colleges. The latter half of the event had the Keynote Speaker taking up doubts and queries from the participants. 

t programs organized by our MJC management bears effective fruits every time. The teachers inculcate the effective methods of teaching, which would really give meaning to Competency-Based Education. The programs and the training encouraged all the faculty at the school in creating visual/digital content.

The faculty now feels strengthened as they can make any stuff digitally with all confidence. This has really prepared them to implement the principles of NEP 2020.
