MJC – College of Arts & Science for Women – Independence Day Celebration

The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervor at Michael Job College of Arts and Science for Women amidst the foggy morning of 15 August 2021. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, Dr.T.H.Nazeema. This was accompanied by the rendition of the National Anthem led by the college’s students and staff. 

The programme moved forward with an incredible display of parade by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets. The heartfelt renditions of patriotic songs aroused feelings of love and brotherhood among all. Then, Students and faculty members actively planted the saplings at College premises trees.

To celebrate the women entrepreneurs of MJC, a Special programme was conducted through Google meet at 2:00 pm. Mr. Abjhijit Patwardhan, Founder & CEO of Alt-Lyf, Singapore, the chief guest of the day shared his thoughts on the entrepreneurial performances of the students and encouraged them to do more such programs.  The best performers of the entrepreneurship programme from MJC – College of Arts & Science, MJC – College of Education, and MJC – School were appreciated with Prizes and Certificates on this day.
