On 13 July 2021, the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit in association with Lions Club International organized a Tree Plantation programme and planted 250 saplings in the college premises. MJF A.Natarajan, District Governor, Lions Club International was the chief guest. The Lions club Secretary Mr. Jotty Kuriyan and other members like Mr. Kanthanathan, Shanmuga Vadivel, Sambath joined the occasion.
MJF A.Natarajan, District Governor, Lions Club International, Sulur, gave a speech on the importance of plants and their benefits to health. He asked the students to be ambassadors for promoting the message of environmental conservation and protection. Saplings of Neem, Teak, Sheesham, Sukhchain, Puttarnjeevi, Ashoka, and Kanaka Champa were planted in the college premises.
