Webinar on Capital Market Awareness

The Department of Commerce with CA &  IT organized a webinar on “Capital Market Awareness” on 26th May 2021.                   The webinar was conducted through google meet.  Mrs.S.R.Dhanalakshmi, Head, Dept. of Commerce (CA) & (IT), proposed a formal welcome address. It is followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest by Dr.Nazeema.T.H, Principal.

Ms. Sana Shawl, Senior Research Fellow, University of Kashmir was the resource person. The webinar was mainly focused on the Indian capital market and its importance. The resource person provided a simple explanation of the working of the capital market and the investment opportunities involved in it. Students enthusiastically interacted with the resource person by asking queries and clearing doubts regarding the financial markets and functioning.

Mr. Mathew V. Francis, CEO- MJC, appreciated the Resource person and the team for the session. Finally, Mrs.L.Akshaya, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce with CA & IT, delivered a Vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and participants for their valuable time for the webinar session and thanked all, for the successful conduct of the event.
