Webinar on Investors Awareness Programme

On 24 May 2021 National level webinar was conducted by the Department of Commerce on the topic “Investors awareness program” by Ms. Sana Shawl resource person from the University of Kashmir. In an online zoom meeting, more than 70 students took part enthusiastically. The students achieved immense knowledge regarding the share market and its workings. She also made us aware that investing in the share market in the current situation is an advisable one. She also made us understand the difference between the investment market and cryptocurrencies.

Students were motivated to start a Demat account and invest in shares to understand the working of the share market.

The inflation rate of the current economy of a country was practically explained to the students in a predefined manner.
