Webinar on Penne Nee Perumai Kol
The webinar on “Penne Nee Perumai Kol” was organized by the Department of Tamil Literature on 11 March 2021 at MJC. Dr. V. Chitra, Associate Professor, RVS College of Arts and Science was the guest speaker who gave deep insights into the above-mentioned topic. The program started at 11:00 am with the prayer song followed by lighting the lamp. The welcome address was delivered by Ms.TamilSelvi, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil. Dr.T.H.Nazeema, Principal shared her views on Women’s Empowerment.
Dr. V. Chitra gave a talk on how empowering women is the fundamental right of women. The following points were discussed in the webinar :
- Women in Education
- Women empowerment
- Women Equality
- Importance of women
- Role of women in various stages of life.
Later, she responded to the questions raised by the participants. This was followed by a vote of thanks proposed by Ms.Mohana Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil Literature. and expressed her appreciation to Dr. V.Chitra for the enlightening presentation.
