MJC – College of Education – Faculty Development Program on “Competency-Based Education”

A Series of Special lecture on Competency-Based Education (5 Days Program)   


Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Competency-Based Education ” was organized and presented by Dr. R. Ravi, Principal, Michael Job Memorial College of Education for Women. The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Babu P Varu, Secretary and Treasurer, MJC, and Mr. Mathew V Francis, CEO, MJC.

This FDP program focused on Competency-Based Education which is described as a type of education based on predetermined “competencies,” which focuses on outcomes and real-world performance. FDP Program was conducted from 02nd Nov 2020 to 5th Nov 2020,10th Nov 2020 for teachers and faculties of Michael Job Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Michael Job College of Arts and Science, and Michael Job Memorial College of Education for Women. It focused on topics like Introduction to Competency-Based Education, Curriculum as a System, Learning Outcomes, and Assessment Techniques for Learning Outcomes. The session was very interactive, informative, and enriching to all the participants.
