Michael Job College of Education for Women has celebrated World Water Day 2021 on 22 March 2021.
The Programme was started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu; Ms. Saranya.S welcomed the gathering and introduced the theme of World Water Day 2021, “Valuing Water” by a narration.
Dr. R.Ravi, Principal, MJC – College of Education had delivered a speech on “Importance of Conserving Water”, which created interest among the students and they found it to be useful.
An event called “Trace of Blue” was organized by the Department of English, which enabled the students to portray the significance of Water in different ways.
Various competitions like Pen a Poem, Blue It (Drawing), Spector (Elocution), Essay writing, Poster Creation, Slogan Writing & Short Film were conducted in order to encourage them to participate and to expose their creative knowledge and skills.
Ms. E.Juliet Princia recited a Poem entitled ‘ ePH’ (water) and elucidated the importance of saving water for the future generation. Subsequently, Ms. Nirmala Devi had delivered a speech on Water. Ms. Dhanusiya presented a poster entitled “Water is Life”.
The Programme was concluded with the National Anthem.
