Mr. Abhijit Patwardhan is the Founder and CEO of Alt-Lyf, a social enterprise in Singapore that enables individuals of all ages to prototype their alternate lives- using workshops, online training, coaching, and Alt-Lyf Labs.He has worked for over three decades in the consumer goods and tech industries and held senior leadership roles across Asia-Pacific in Hewlett-Packard and Lexmark.

In the last five years, he has founded a 3D printing startup (The 3rd Dimension), launched an app for dog owners in Singapore (SingaPaws), and has now become a certified “Designing Your Life” Coach. In 2017, he moved to Silicon Valley to join Stanford’s Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) Fellows program. The three pillars of the DCI program – Purpose, Community, and Lifelong learning inspired him to set up Alt-Lyf. He serves as a Trustee on the Board of Waterways Watch Society (an NGO in Singapore) and as a Board Advisor to Shikshanjali, an edu-tech non-profit in India. He also mentors start-ups in building their business models and Go-to-Market plans.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pune and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. His interests include everything dog – he is a certified dog trainer and loves to write about their behavior and history. He has recently completed his first book manuscript. Apart from that, he enjoys sailing- he is a boat skipper and loves going on overland trips..  To watch his session click here
